The wig itself is beautiful and comfortable. I would suggest buying it through a shaitel macher that you trust and will be willing to help you if there are any issues as the customer service of the Irene company is terrible.

I have 2 Irenes, that I got a couple of years ago for about $500 each. For the price, they are amazing! They both still look very good and hold a style for weeks.

For the price, I think it's decent quality. I bought a full irene a few years ago for $425- and it was pretty long. The coloring was done really nicely. The hair quality was decent. It's lasted well. I know their prices have gone up since I bought, so I'm not sure I would spend more than $500 on something from Irene.

I get loads of compliments on my wavy irene dolce line wig. Some people (even those who are used to wigs) say they could never tell and I dont pull out any hair, just have heavy side bangs). Yes, it does get knotted underneath after a day of wearing it, but if you brush it daily it's fine and could go without washing for weeks (or months in my case).. every so often I will splash water on it or throw in some mousse, but overall all I wash it myself every 2-3 months and let it air dry. It's not super silky quality hair, but part of that adds to why it looks more real and natural than some of the super expensive virgin european hair wigs that are perfectly done... If you have basic brown or light brown hair and are okay with a thicker and more natural look, its definitely a good route to take without paying excessive amounts (although they have gone up in price significantly since a couple years ago).

Thinking of Rating A Wig Company?
When leaving your rating or review, please consider the following things:

At Shaytell, we value honesty above all else. Please make sure you have actually had an experience with a specific company before rating them. (This does not mean you had to purchase a wig. It could have been a consultation, a phonecall, a meeting, etc., but you should be commenting on a personal interaction.)

We encourage all reviews: good and bad. We just want you to write about it in a calm way. Try and keep language professional, and think about your review as a means of guiding someone else toward the best company rather than bashing a company you may have had a negative experience with.

Pictures are great. Your review will have most impact if you can show people what you loved or hated about your experience with that vendor!
