I'm not so happy with my Binah wig. The shopping was lovely. Very helpful consultants, beautiful shop, good service. I've had the wig for three years and I've already had to dye it and add hairs. It tangles very easily, doesn't hold a set, lost its colour quickly and lost a lot of hair. I was sent by Binah to cut the wig by a particular stylist who did a horrible job. It's a bad cut that I really can't undo. I will not be buying another binah

I got a binah about 2 years ago, and it started oxidizing at a year and a half. The hair was good, virgin quality, but didnt last long. I kept on asking for a larger cap, (and i dont have such a large head) but they said they couldnt do that, so my shaitel is a bit snug. Overall i wont be shopping there again.

I found my wig looked beautiful at first but the hairs kept on separating and clumping, and need to be brushed often. My sheitel got about 3 or 4 shades lighter within 2 washings. My hairdresser suspects it was treated dyed hair. I would check to make sure that when purchasing a wig by Bina that the hair is not treated hair. The staff is courteous but customer service was not satisfactory.

Binah wigs are one of a kind. comfortable, natural and gorgeous color. If you want a truly high end luscious wig buy a Binah. I loveeee mine and get compliments constantly about how stunning my “hair” is, you seriously can’t tell it’s a wig. Chavi is the sweetest most knowledgeable consultant and really helped me find the perfect piece. The store is rlly pretty too which doesn’t hurt the shopping ambiance. All in all I will definitely return to Binah wigs:)

I can spot a bina right away. It's big looking with a super unnatural front even after they put in the babyhair. Bina wigs seem to make the clients wearing them look 20 years older then they are which is not a compliment. I've never seen anyone look good in a bina. Their store is beautiful and the girls working there are very nice and sweet. They also show you the wigs after they wash and set them to perfection so the hair and waves look beautiful and we all know it won't last that way for more then a day or two. The cap is so big it makes the head look so big. Overall it's expensive for such bad quality wig that seems to only make people look old in. I wouldn't recommend

I bought a Binah wig 6 months ago. I am loving it. Great customer service. Chavi found the perfect hair texture I was looking for. Beautiful cut and style. Chavi has magic hands. Binah was very accommodating and adjusted my sheitel and added baby hair the same day. I am very pleased with my experience at Binah wigs.

Since I bought it, my Binah has tangled in the front. When freshly done it looks amazing, but otherwise it looks and feels awful. I brought it back to the company multiple times with no improvement. (They also misfitted the cap when purchased and I had to leave it with them for 2 months to change it.) Now it is after a few years of use and the scalp is showing, hair is damaged, and it looks pretty awful. I'm bummed since I put over $3500 into my Binah and hoped to get more use out of it.

Bina basic is like buying a shaitel that should cost $500 but instead for $1500-$2000. Beware. The hair is bad quality, and they are thin!!!

Ive purchased two binahs and havent had luck. The first "virgin curly" oxidized within the first year, curls came out and made it much longer then I purchased it at. The multi directional also doesnt go far back, it stops after obly 3 inches and does not look natural. The second was sold to me "on sale" half off but theres no way it was originally $2300 for a bob length wig. The hair was uneven and very thin. The multi directional had the same problem as the first. Im very unhappy with both binahs. Will not buy again

I bought my wig May 2013 (when they were located on Lefferts) my Bina had a lot of hair and I found the texture and quality of the hair to be great. The main reason I bought it was bcz I wanted a wig that would wash and air dry beautifully- and it did and, 3 years later, it still does. Now, it doesn't hold a set for more than a few days and I noticed some thinning on the 'scalp'. None the less, I've had a great experience with Bina.

Does not hold a setting and their custom service is terrible - they hardly back anything, see the policies on their counter before you buy your wig.

I've had my Binah for 3+ years. The color has stayed on target for about 2.5 and the cap is extremely comfortable. Unfortunately the sewed the weaves with very large gaps in between, so now the wig looks pretty thin. And when I went in to get it fixed, they charge more per weave for their own wig, then other virgin hair companies were quoting me for weaves. I'd think for your own wig you'd offer a better price! And for the cost of a Binah I would have expected it to last me at least 5 years - which it wont

I bought my Binah wig two years ago, on sale for $2600. I loved the virgin gorgeous color and that the the hair was full and had height.
The stylist cut the wig a bit, set the front, and gushed over how natural it looked without even being set. Well, if wouldn't walk out with my natural hair air-dried, why would i wear my wig like that? Each time i put it on, i was unhappy with the way it looked and was ready to resell it at a loss. Finally, i decided to get it set properly and guess what? Looks gorgeous! So now i wash the wig myself and bring it to a regular hair stylist to set (i live out of town where there are no sheitel machers). When it gets knotty, i know it is time for another wash and set, usually about every six weeks. I just wish that the hair wouldn't stick back into the cap and have to be pushed out.
This is my special occasions wig and overall i am very happy with it.

I am very happy with my Bina. I rave about it to everyone. The hair quality is amazing. I love the fact that it's so low maintenance. Literally wash, air dry, and go. I've had issues with the front. There's a split and it didn't lay right. However every time I go in they take it to fix it, and I've had great customer service! Love my Binah!

Such a wonderful experience with a gorgeous curly shaitel that I love. I wash and style it myself so I save a ton of money there. Its beautiful and I get a ton of compliments. Their customer service is impeccable. My only complaint is I have issues with the cap, they took it back and fixed it but the issues came back. I have heard others complain that the caps aren't that great. Hair "bubbles" into a little cushion by the multi-part front. It's not noticeable to others but annoying. Still, highly recommend them and would purchase from them again.

Thinking of Rating A Wig Company?
When leaving your rating or review, please consider the following things:

At Shaytell, we value honesty above all else. Please make sure you have actually had an experience with a specific company before rating them. (This does not mean you had to purchase a wig. It could have been a consultation, a phonecall, a meeting, etc., but you should be commenting on a personal interaction.)

We encourage all reviews: good and bad. We just want you to write about it in a calm way. Try and keep language professional, and think about your review as a means of guiding someone else toward the best company rather than bashing a company you may have had a negative experience with.

Pictures are great. Your review will have most impact if you can show people what you loved or hated about your experience with that vendor!
