I purchased my wig during a chof bais shvat sale from a local sheitel macher in crown heights. What I thought was a worthwhile purchase turned out to be awful.
The hair when styled only lasted a day or two. When the hair fell it was very frizzy. There was also an issue with knots. I tried to take care of the issues with the sheitel macher, but she just styled it nicely, but again after a couple times of wearing it, it looked awful. I moved out of town and I kept trying to get in touch with the sheitel macher who stopped helping me and sent me directly to Isabel wigs. I shipped them the wig and they said they would treat it - but we know what that means. When I was still unsatisfied they blamed the city that I moved to or the person who would now wash and set my wig.
I am so hurt that a company and a sheitel macher can take advantage of people like that - spending a significant amount of money with absolutely no customer service.

Thinking of Rating A Wig Company?
When leaving your rating or review, please consider the following things:

At Shaytell, we value honesty above all else. Please make sure you have actually had an experience with a specific company before rating them. (This does not mean you had to purchase a wig. It could have been a consultation, a phonecall, a meeting, etc., but you should be commenting on a personal interaction.)

We encourage all reviews: good and bad. We just want you to write about it in a calm way. Try and keep language professional, and think about your review as a means of guiding someone else toward the best company rather than bashing a company you may have had a negative experience with.

Pictures are great. Your review will have most impact if you can show people what you loved or hated about your experience with that vendor!
