I feel like I was completely ripped off and scammed into buying my Dini wig. At $4,000 , I expected much much better. The color is totally wrong. it is not comfortable. The cut is not good. Seems like they just gave me whatever piece they had leftover or wanted to get rid of. Biggest mistake purchase I ever made! I'm really sorry I have to write this. I expected a lot better 🙁 For this price, the wig should be flawless. This one is worse than all my others that costed half this price and less.

Buying this wig is like buying a lottery ticket. There might be a winner but most are losers. A couple of people I know got winners - they were happy with their purchase, so I bought one, and another, and another - all losers. I started asking around and heard the same story from other disappointed people. So yes, there are some people that might be happy, but there are many many many that aren't.

I take no pleasure in doing this and it actually pains me in publicly denouncing the wigs sold by this company. I don't know how they stay in business. We let them get away with it! They make us think we are getting a "good price" while they are selling us defective junk. I am comforted if one person reading this re-thinks their choice and buys elsewhere.

I bought DIni and a Reena. The Dini cost me twice as much as the Reena. Which one do I wear? The Reena! The Din was an expensive waste of money. I don't want to say Loshon Hara so I won't get into all the details. In the future I will only buy a Reena.

They are willing to fix minor things that take them 2 minutes, like tightening the cap. But you will need to wait a very long time to get back the wig. The first time, after waiting over a month, I got it back and they did nothing! So they told me to send it back and after 9 weeks it was finally fixed. Problem is they will not repair hair that knots in the back of wig or the split ends. They tell you to use conditioner or other products but that does not help. Very disappointed.

My friend liked hers so I bought one. Big mistake. Mine was awful. Hair felt great for the first few months and then started falling out, felt dry, dead ends and color started to change. And it started to get itchy!! My friend who had one told me that she likes them but admitted they don't last very long and you need to get a "good piece" which you can't know till after you wear it a while. It's like a delicious looking cake in the bakery window - looks great but might taste awful. I would NEVER buy another one because I can't afford taking the chance.

Thinking of Rating A Wig Company?
When leaving your rating or review, please consider the following things:

At Shaytell, we value honesty above all else. Please make sure you have actually had an experience with a specific company before rating them. (This does not mean you had to purchase a wig. It could have been a consultation, a phonecall, a meeting, etc., but you should be commenting on a personal interaction.)

We encourage all reviews: good and bad. We just want you to write about it in a calm way. Try and keep language professional, and think about your review as a means of guiding someone else toward the best company rather than bashing a company you may have had a negative experience with.

Pictures are great. Your review will have most impact if you can show people what you loved or hated about your experience with that vendor!
