Amazing wigs! Noa is the best in blondes and waves! She's also so friendly and nice!

I had a horrible experience with my Noa wig. It cost me upwards of 3800. It's only been a couple of years and SO much hair has fallen out. Can't do a half style because there will be bald spots. Cap is super uncomfortable.

I bought a Noa wig and I couldn't be more satisfied. The hair is top quality and the cut is superb! I have been in the market for many years and I was never this happy and never received so many compliments. She brilliantly knows how to match the wig to my face shape. I recommend only Noa !!

I am not one that ever posts my complaints. I usually go straight to the seller and work out whatever it is. As many of you have already expressed that there is no such concept by Noa. I have a bunch of sisters who got a Noa when they got married and loved loved loved it. That was 5 years ago. Any wig they bought in the last two years is TERRIBLE. I would like to start off that despite how much money and customers my family sent her she wasn't very nice the first time I came in. I was a new bride and hated the idea of a wig.... So yes I was grumpy. Anyways fast forward 4 months after my wedding which was all through the winter my wig went from brunette to ORANGE. I bought a $5,000 wig that I did not color or change or wash anywhere turned ORANGE. I went back and asked them to please match it with the original swatch. They did so and called me back saying they will color it for free. When I said I don't want them coloring it, I bought a natural wig that never touched the color they should be honoring the wig instead. They wouldn't hear it. When I went to pick up the wig I asked to speak with Noa privately she said no you can speak in front of the client. I explained very nicely that this makes no sense and although I appreciate the color for free I don't want to be back here in 4 months from now. She responded that she expects to see me back for coloring in 6 months and her hair is quality and it has to do with my attitude that changed the color. She also went into because I have a blend of colors in brunette It oxidizes faster. I said I'm not blonde. I have brown hair and bought hair that I never touched the color. I just want to know that if I'm back in less than 6 months that she'll honor the wig. She refused to hear it. She said she dyed it darker this time so that it will be longer before it lightens( um I didn't buy a darker wig!)
Fast forward 3 months after she dyed the wig the first time it's is ORANGE again. Mind you I don't spend time in the sun at all. I pulled all my strength and called again as my last attempt. They said to bring it in. They called me back saying that if she removes the highlights that way it'll take longer until it oxidizes. So that means the whole top of my wig is going to be even darker than originally bought! I tried to explain how it shouldn't be oxidizing at all after such a short time. I said my mothers wig from 5 years ago is still the same great color to which they responded some people can tolerate the oxidize and some people can not.
This is my story. This wig has given me such hell. I would strongly advise staying away from this place. This isn't a place where you're getting what you paid for. If say it was a cheap wig and it is comfortable so why not.... At this point I don't even have the wig for a year and I could've bought 5 cheap wigs for what I spent here and I think I would've been a lot happier. Best of luck to those of you who have the same issue and to the lucky ones who happened to have gotten her wig 5 years ago, count your blessings.

I forgot to comment on the wait times. Yes, definitely an issue. We are all busy moms and our time is valuable. This makes me really upset. Also, the unfriendliness. I do not feel comfortable and at ease at that salon. And lastly, the hair on the bottom - in my experience it barely knotted and is great compared to other sheitels I owned.

I bought my Noa about 4 years ago. I own only this one sheitel so I wear it every single day, including Shabbos. By the time I got to Noa I spent years of aggravation, thousands of wasted dollars and sheitels in the trash. I was terrified of spending 3x the amount I've spent in the past and STILL being unhappy. I was very pleasantly surprised that that wasn't the case. It's 4 years later and my sheitel looks brand new with very very minimal maintenance. I wash it about once every 2-3 months. I get compliments on it all the time. In fact, I am so satisfied with this piece that I put another deposit for my second Noa. I pray that it turns out the same. I'm very sensitive to the comfort of the cap, as well and again, in comparison to my previous sheitels, Noa feels the most comfortable. (yes, it is still a wig and won't ever feel like you're not wearing one, imo. Unless you're paying a few thousands just for a special type of cap designed for migraine prone people). The reason I gave Noa 5 stars even though I do not feel that their customer service is superb is because the threshold for customer service is so low in this industry that I find Noa's customer service acceptable. I do wish they listened and gave the time of day to their customers more and not dismiss their concerns or wants right away. However, since I haven't had any major issues with my purchase I haven't experienced this side of the deal. I did have to deep condition and add a little bit of hair last year but it wasn't anything major and is totally expected due to the wear and tear on the piece. My lace front is nice and pretty natural looking. Have I seen way better looking ones? Yes. Even while being serviced at Noa! Some of the lace fronts of their other customers looked better than mine. But in no way is it unacceptable, imo. One last minor negative is that I wish the height held better. It does get pretty flat quite fast after the wash and set. And I found it to be more true the longer I used the wig. Again, it's not terrible; just requires more maintenance. I hope this helps.

I had a not so great experience as well. I spent a lot of money on my Noa. the year I got married was the year of lace fronts. well, I paid 300 extra and it was terrible!!! I look back at my sheva brachos pictures and it looks so wiggy!!! evryone said go back go back so I mustered all my courage and bought it back. i was kept waiting for a very long time and kind of not treated nicely, I was told I dont know how to wear it etc. well, I bought it to several sheitel machers who all said the lace front was done in a messy way. i eventually cut bangs on it and it looks decent. the hair in back knots like crazy but there was no way I felt comfortable walking back in to that store. all that said, the hair quality is beautiful even though there is very little on bottom. the hair is soft and shiny and very pretty. it is 4 years old and definitely needs a serious dye and hair added. all in all, the hair is good quality but i would not buy again from her. a wig is an investment and the sheitelmacher must be open and willing to fix problems especially immediately after.

I am very unhappy with my Noa wig. I had a very similar experience to 'Frustrated Customer' above. To make a very long story short, my custom wig was totally not what I had ordered. One example is that I asked for naturally wavy hair. When I saw that it was totally straight, Noa told me it needs to be trained. (?!?) Over 3 years later and it's still straight...
Quite a few experienced sheitel machers told me it is definitely not virgin hair and not good quality either as was promised. The worst part was the customer service. Definitely my worst customer experience ever! Noa nastily brushed off every one of my questions, concerns and complaints and left me feeling cheated and taken advantage of.

I was very unhappy with my noa. It's a nice wig overall but not worth the $ I spent on it. I got a very long blonde for $5,000. Compared to my Dini in the same price range it doesn't add up. The fit is tight tho she tells me it fits me. It's extremely uncomfortable and the hair is coarse. Doesn't look natural.

I wish u had the option of giving zero stars!!! Noa does not deserve any stars for the way she makes u feel when you come 2 months after your married with a completely oxidized wig. I bought 2 wigs over $4,000 each!!! The least she can do is give you the time of day. All that happened is that I left there believing that what happened to my wig was fine and I look beautiful! Don't convince me I look great, when my once blonde wig is bright orange from sitting in a box for 2 months. Don't give me an orange wig that you does blonde and tell me it's a Virgin blonde.
After months of frustration I finally went back to her and told her I'm not leaving until I get some type of service. She finally took it to die but left me with a huge guilt trip and til today she thinks I owe her money. I Dnt owe her anything! When u rob someone blind, give them garbage and take zero responsibility, no one owes u anything. All I can say is stay far away from Noa studio! It's a message for disaster. People deserve to know and someone like that doesn't belong making millions off one big scam! Hope this helps future brides!

hair on the bottom by the cap feels synethic....not soft at all. the lace front was not flush with my head and really bumpy, so they cut it....and that took away the lace front look and also took away all the baby hairs. not easy to work with. they dont guarantee their work, even tho they say they do....hair was hardly worn and oxidized in a yr
also my wig was more than 5k...so not sure why their price range says 3.8k-5k

I got a custom wig from noa and love it! It's almost 4 years old and I wear it all the time. The lace front is one of the best I have ever seen! Would definitely recommend getting one. The only downside, a lot of hair fell out so I need to add more.

Love this wig! It's going on 5 years and still looks amazing. I've added hair and highlighted it, recut the bangs, and it looks like a brand new wig. My go-to weekday wig! Have not had to deal with the customer service so I don't have much comment on that.

Love this wig! It's going on 5 years, I've added hair, highlighted, and recut and the wig looks brand new. Feels light and easy on the head even after I added thick hair. My go-to everyday wig! Haven't had a chance to deal with customer service so I don't have any comment on that.

I wouldn't recommend going with a noa. I had a cusom wig order that was very expensive and from day one it didn't fit. Even after much back and forth I was repeatedly told my wig does fit when it clearly did not. I finally took the wig to someone else who fixed the cap. The hair is nice hair, but the color oxidized within the first year and with minimal wear. Its not helpful for me to have a pretty wig that doesn't fit and no one knowledgable enough to fix it or willing to take responsibility.

I have 2 wigs purchased 9&10 yrs ago. They are still in great condition! 1 purchased more recently is wonderful as well. The hair is silky and doesn't knot or shed. Noa is a skilled wig cutter who is really sweet but does not take well to criticism or complaints. Definitely worth the sometimes ridiculously long wait time.

Thinking of Rating A Wig Company?
When leaving your rating or review, please consider the following things:

At Shaytell, we value honesty above all else. Please make sure you have actually had an experience with a specific company before rating them. (This does not mean you had to purchase a wig. It could have been a consultation, a phonecall, a meeting, etc., but you should be commenting on a personal interaction.)

We encourage all reviews: good and bad. We just want you to write about it in a calm way. Try and keep language professional, and think about your review as a means of guiding someone else toward the best company rather than bashing a company you may have had a negative experience with.

Pictures are great. Your review will have most impact if you can show people what you loved or hated about your experience with that vendor!
