I bought 2 galit Italia's when I was a kalla. I actually bought one b4 I met my chosson and bh I met him 1 month later!!! So im definitely thankful to Racheli! My sheitels were worn every day and lasted 4 years. They were pretty and comfortable while they lasted! They r straight and hold a set for a week if sprayed a lot!!! After 4 years of daily usage they r full of split ends and color is oxidized! Either I spend money reviving the wigs or I buy new ones!!! In short they r good for 3 or 4 years max....

im not a big wig wearer but I bought a very wavy, almost curly short galit italia wig last year. I really like it and am very happy that I can wash it myself. the bangs get frizzy round the edges very easily and need coming each time I wear it though.

I have had my Galit Italia for 4 years now. The hairs split very quickly, and lost its colour after about a year and a half. I have had to spend money since dying it and trimming it constantly.. It also lost a lot of hair, and for a shaitel that is pretty thin to begin with, you don't want that.
I have to say though, that it is pretty comfortable and looks great and natural!

My galit is almost 3 years old. The color still has not oxidized and my front is super natural so thats nice. But, it has tons of split ends and it gets crazy knotty, pretty much always knotty everywhere. I wanted course hair but ended up with very sleek hair somehow and so no set holds in. In comparison to my other wigs my Galit is extremely uncomfortable as well. All in all I would not buy a Galit in the future.

I bought this wig 4 years ago. It now has tons of split ends but still looks ok. The front wasn't great after 2 years so I cut bangs which gave it new life. Sadly, Seems like the wig is on its final "leg".

So disappointing. The shaitel ends split right away!:( and apperently the Comapany told the shaitel Macher that I got it from that there is nothing they will do.
Also like previous poster mentioned, back got VERY knotty, they did try and fix it one time, but wanted to charge me.

I bought two Galit Italia wigs four years ago. The cap is pretty comfortable, the hair is still glossy although there are lots of split ends but they are hard to notice unless looking upclose. The hair is stubbornly straight and if someone wishes for the more natural , wavy look without having to get it done each time this is not the sheitel for them. It is a great slick , straight sheitel that I have washed myself many times. The color only started fading after two years of wearing which is very good. The hair is soft but I have heard that many people complain that it can get knotted in the back although . If your looking for a full bang, super straight sharp look this is a pretty good sheitel.

Thinking of Rating A Wig Company?
When leaving your rating or review, please consider the following things:

At Shaytell, we value honesty above all else. Please make sure you have actually had an experience with a specific company before rating them. (This does not mean you had to purchase a wig. It could have been a consultation, a phonecall, a meeting, etc., but you should be commenting on a personal interaction.)

We encourage all reviews: good and bad. We just want you to write about it in a calm way. Try and keep language professional, and think about your review as a means of guiding someone else toward the best company rather than bashing a company you may have had a negative experience with.

Pictures are great. Your review will have most impact if you can show people what you loved or hated about your experience with that vendor!
