Yonit (Wunderwig)

I really like my wunderwig when it is on correctly and clipped into place. Of course, there are pros and cons like any other wig. What I really like is that I wear it comfortably around the house (not dying to throw off my sheitel to put on a hat or tichel), it's very secure, and it's very realistic looking - l could do a cartwheel and not worry that it will fly off. The con is that it's a little bit more time consuming to put on than a regular sheitel - there's more time required to prep my hair underneath without a bulge and to get the wunderwig into a nice "messy bun" look without being too messy - no throwing on this sheitel and walking out the door, unfortunately. I bought a curly hair wunderwig and it gets a little ratty looking after a couple of wears so I feel like I have to wash it more often than other sheitels - likely because, just like real curly hair, it can't stay so nice with the constant manipulation of pulling it into a ponytail (so I think this is to be expected). It's easy to wash and it dries naturally into smooth loose curls without any added products or styling. The quality of the hair is excellent and buying the wunderwig directly from Yonit and her company went very smooth despite not having a local wunderwig distributor. I don't think there will ever be a perfect sheitel - that's just reality, but this is a really nice change from other sheitels and, overall, I'm very happy with it. I bought it in August/September, so this is a review after about half a year of owning it.

Wonderwig is such a clever wig because you can do anything on a comfortable shaitel!!
