I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say I got a defective Yaffa. It was my first sheital so I didn't really know what to look for. I've only had it for about 2 1/2 years but only really wore it for the first year. I hated it so much so I got another sheital after that first year. Now I use it as my rain and snow sheital. Curl lasts 4-5 days and then goes completely flat. Hair feels like straw and has a plastic-y shine to it. Thinned out like crazy. Split ends everywhere. Totally unimpressed and very disappointed.

i brought my first wig at Yaffa - natural European hair, everything was fine until i took it in for a set and blow dry in their Jerusalem salon, as i was flying the same day i left it while i ran some errands, i dident check it before i left since i was in a rush, when i got to my destination for yom tov i put my wig on and my whole family gasped, their was a chunk of hair missing it, when i complained to yaffa the service was horrendous, they told me i had done it and refused to do anything about it till i got throgh to their new york office where they told me to travel to the main salon in Bnai brak, i got there some inexperienced woman sew in hair extensions but not only did she use straw hair but she sew it in the middle instead of the roots, i hate wearing the wig practically never wear it now, i feel let down especially as i paid nearly 2000$

not a huge fan of Yaffa after I was convinced to buy what I thought was a great deal but turned out to be a real dud 🙁 they were having a sale and I tried on a wig that felt amazing. everyone at the store confirmed it was a great piece and told me it was a really good deal. well... after coloring and cutting and wearing it a few times I realized the hair was terrible. it looks and feels ok right after its washed but thats about it. I can wear it freshly washed and an hour later come back and its knotty and frizzy and just looks extremely junky and dirty. the hair feels very dead and tangled.

Thinking of Rating A Wig Company?
When leaving your rating or review, please consider the following things:

At Shaytell, we value honesty above all else. Please make sure you have actually had an experience with a specific company before rating them. (This does not mean you had to purchase a wig. It could have been a consultation, a phonecall, a meeting, etc., but you should be commenting on a personal interaction.)

We encourage all reviews: good and bad. We just want you to write about it in a calm way. Try and keep language professional, and think about your review as a means of guiding someone else toward the best company rather than bashing a company you may have had a negative experience with.

Pictures are great. Your review will have most impact if you can show people what you loved or hated about your experience with that vendor!
