I have two wigs. The first looks amazing but has been extremely uncomfortable and the cap was huge and never fit right. After a number of visits to try to fix it I gave up and just wore it as is and suffered for a few years. Finally had it resized last week by another person for just $40 and it finally feels comfortable. My second is a wavy which I can't really wear because it makes me look like a cone head or a Muppet. After several visits back and forth the problem was never solved. Finally had two different wig people tell me it's an air bubble and there's no way to fix it. The owners kept telling me the reason it looks that way is the shape of my head, that I had a widows peak etc.... They did agree that the cut they did made it even more conehead looking and replaced the bangs with longer hair but it didnt really help because as I know now it is an air bubble. Also it is a wavy and it has so little hair that it looks like I'm balding. A waste of $2300. The owners are nice when you buy something but after you buy they make it difficult to adjust and if you have problem they can be challenhing to work with. Also, the hair on both have tons of split ends and my wavy looks so oxidized. The girls that do the styling are very lovely.

I was very disappointed. I was encouraged to buy a wig with a small bump but i was told it would stretch out over time not only did it not stretch but the bump got much much worse. Finally after 4 years of not wearing it and being told it was an air bubble, i went to see an independent sheitel macher who was able to do a complete cap transfer for me to finally be able to wear my wig. I wasnt able to wear the wig for few years without looking like a conehead and then to get it fixed i had to spend alot of money.

Wonderful sales staff and great customer service. They actually replaced my fall 2x!! Because I was unhappy with the hair which was coarse and did not hold a style. Unfortunately even two exchanges later I was not satisfied with the hair quality

Thinking of Rating A Wig Company?
When leaving your rating or review, please consider the following things:

At Shaytell, we value honesty above all else. Please make sure you have actually had an experience with a specific company before rating them. (This does not mean you had to purchase a wig. It could have been a consultation, a phonecall, a meeting, etc., but you should be commenting on a personal interaction.)

We encourage all reviews: good and bad. We just want you to write about it in a calm way. Try and keep language professional, and think about your review as a means of guiding someone else toward the best company rather than bashing a company you may have had a negative experience with.

Pictures are great. Your review will have most impact if you can show people what you loved or hated about your experience with that vendor!
