I have a shevy for over 4 years. At first it was thick and beautiful. It was great for the first two years. It oxidized pretty quickly but I dyed it and it was back to being good. But since then it has oxidized again very fast. I had it dyed a second time but it wont hold much of a dye anymore. Tons of hair fell out. It became very thin over the years. Overall I was not impressed with the quality. It statted off great for a year or two but has gone downhill since then. It was over $4000, I dont think it was worth the price, it should have lasted better.

Got 2 Shevy ($3,500 each) 3 years ago. The hair quality looks good but aftwr 3-4 days after every wash/set gets super knotty in the back. The caps started folling apart after 1 year, which make it unconfortable.

The hair quality in my Shevy feels amazing. I'm also able to wash it myself and it airs dries great. However the cap is not very comfortable and I sent it back and they added hair and did not do a good job. So I feel like it just doesn't sit right on me. I wish it could work for me because I love the feel of the hair and how it dries but for some reason because of the cap fit and comfort I don't wear it much and feel I wasted the $$$ 🙁

My first shaitel was a shevy and I got ashy blonde. I loved that the hair was thick, it fit me so well, and laid down nicely, but within the first year it already turned orange, and had tons of split ends. Dont know if I would get another shevy..

My main problem is how often it has to be dyed.

I've had my shevy for 4 years and feel it's mediocre.
Oxidizes very quickly, gas the short itchy hair at the back and doesn't have much hair left, 4 years later.
The Quality or the hair is great, it's comfortable and easy to maintain, and with bangs looks natural

Disclaimer: I've had this wig for a year, and I've never worn another.

I will explain my ratings:
Hair Quality: It's pretty decent. I don't have to wash it often and I find the hair to be full
Comfort and Fit: Good. However, I think this factor has more to do with (Raizy) my sheitel Macher
Customer Service. N/A, I got it from Raizy
Cap Construction: It seems fine to me.
Wig Lifespan: I have only worn it for a year, and at that not so often, but it seems to be fairing well.

My shaitel has lasted me three years so far. The quality of the hair is incredible. It has stayed equally full since the day i bought it. On the down side the hair is sewn toward the face so my shaitel has curtained over my eyes since ive bought it three years ago (constantly tried to fix this, and ended up just pinning it back). I also wanted to aubrey and highlight my shaitel and all shevys that start with the number '05,06,07' dye in pink and purple hues- so that was never an option and I was never told that upon purchasing. I recommend a shevy for anyone who can carry the thickness and weight of the wigs and would also be certain that they would never want to dye their shaitel a lighter hue.

Thinking of Rating A Wig Company?
When leaving your rating or review, please consider the following things:

At Shaytell, we value honesty above all else. Please make sure you have actually had an experience with a specific company before rating them. (This does not mean you had to purchase a wig. It could have been a consultation, a phonecall, a meeting, etc., but you should be commenting on a personal interaction.)

We encourage all reviews: good and bad. We just want you to write about it in a calm way. Try and keep language professional, and think about your review as a means of guiding someone else toward the best company rather than bashing a company you may have had a negative experience with.

Pictures are great. Your review will have most impact if you can show people what you loved or hated about your experience with that vendor!
